Here's a great shot of a train crossing the Ransom Creek Trestle. (Paul Larner Collection)

Heavy snow drifts were no stranger to the LF&D. Getting a good running start and hitting the drift was the only way to do it!

I can't read the writing, but here is a lumber company in Dolgeville (Paul Larner Collection)

Here is a postcard of the John Pierce Stone Co. in Little Falls. I believe the LF&D and the New York Central serviced this stone operation. Of course, the NYC right off the Chicago line, and the LF&D passed the operation on top of the hill. Remnants of the building in the center can be seen when crossing the Mohawk River into Little Falls. (Paul Larner Collection)

Here is the Praime Bullock Mill Grist Mill in Dolgeville. Notice the boxcar on the left. (Paul Larner Collection)

Here's the Crum Creek Station at the top of the hill out of LF on 167. At the sharp curve, follow the y right. The Station used to stand just behind the gas station in the Y in the road. Probably still standing! Shot was taken in 85 or 86. (Photo: Lucinda M. Parker)
