Niskayuna And Mohawk View

Here's a great shot of the Niskayuna Station. Notice the identical to Aqueduct water-tower. This old station remains today on the Mohawk and Hudson Bike-Trail. This is the eastward view...

Here's the ice-cutting crew working near Forts Ferry. The Ice was loaded and shipped out of the Niskayuna Station.

This looks pretty dangerous. Reminds me of the game, "Don't Break The Ice." It looks like they've got the cubes all cut up and they're standing on them!

A little further up the line was the Mohawk View Station. Here's the Eastward view from the crossing.

The next station after Mohawk View Heading East would have been Dunsback Ferry. This is in the vacinity of the present-day Twin Bridges. A neat little stop with and extended platform. The view is eastward.
