Here's a few shots of them removing the line when Conrail abandoned her from Cranesville to Fort Plain in 1981.

Here's a shot looking at the current end-of-track in Cranesville. If those ties look brand-new, they are! New York State payed big in 1979 to upgrade the line out to Beech-Nut in Canjoharie. A few years later she was scrapped! What a waste!!!
